New journal publication in BRI

A joint paper with James

Calderon C, Keirstead J. Modelling frameworks for delivering low carbon cities: advocating a normalised practiceBuilding Research and Information 2012, 40(4), 504-517.

I think we bring to the fore the issue of delivering climate change.  Local Authorities in the UK will be the main conduits, however, there is a lack of normalised modelling practice as to help evaluating current status and produce future scenarios.

New journal paper in Energy Policy

A joint publication with James Keirstead.

I think we have moved on the field and highlight the importance of having an accurate understanding of the building stock.  In terms of analysis, we have introduced the notion of uncertainty for long term scenario planning.  It seems these ideas are currently being taking up by other researchers.
